Hello and happy Tuesday! March flew by and we are getting right into the month of April. For today’s blog post it is going to be kind of an extension of my Classic style and sustainability blog post. I received some amazing feedback from the green suit set that I wore from Theory (you can read here). However, a couple of you have asked for more affordable options for work wear. So I decided to write a blog post around work outfits for spring. I know we are in the final stages of shedding the sweaters and OTK boots so let’s jump into some inspiration to freshen up your work wear.
The Power Suit
The power suit can come in many different forms and it is a set I think every woman should have in her closet. Whether that is because it is apart of your everyday work wear or for you to have for any interviews that could come up. H&M has a great collection of suit separates that are price conscious and fit well. As many of you know I have an issue with my butt to waist ratio. Finding pants that fit well can be a challenge. H&M has several options to choose from and really pretty spring colors in store and online.
Simple and Classic Separates
Another place I want to bring to mind is Target. In a way, if you were a lot of separates it is kind of like you are creating a mini capsule wardrobe within your wardrobe. However, with these separates, you can incorporate them into your casual/off work as well. They are slightly pricier than like an H&M, but the quality is great and worth the price.
Casual and Comfortable
I love this category because this is what I usually wear to work. I choose some fun spring picks from that will be versatile in your wardrobe, through spring and summer. Since it will be getting warmer I love have flowy tops with a more structured bottom (or vice-versa). Incorporating skirts and maxi dresses will make conquer this season with style!
