Hello and welcome back to the blog! I hope you have been doing well during this crazy time of year with the holidays approaching. I think I am an official overplanner…if that is even a thing lol I am saying yes to too many parties and dinners and catching up with friends that it kinda overlapped one weekend. There’s just too many things to do and not enough weekends before Christmas. At least I tried right?
So back to the real reason you are here…I wanted to show you the latest addition to my accessories collection. Kendra Scott recently released a new collection of charms! What is also new that caught my eye, is that there are now charm necklaces that you can create. Honestly, I am not a huge charm bracelet girl, but that’s just me. However, this is not only for charm bracelets… but you can also create charm necklaces!
It definitely varies when it comes to my accessories and how I want to wear them. For a while, I loved to wear longer necklaces and statement earrings all the time. Then it switched over to smaller necklaces and stud earrings. Now I am very much into the layered necklaces and how I can mix and match them with different types of earrings that I have big or small. I like having pieces that are easy to wear and it goes with a lot of outfits. Including some fun pieces to have when the rest of my outfit needs to be spruced up.
With my new pieces from Kendra Scott, I like that you can create these amazing layered necklaces. I choose a vintage gold adjustable chain (the thicker one) and two charms.

One charm was the sunburst with the pearl in the center and the other is the key. I chose the sunburst with the pearl because my birthstone is a pearl(shout out to June babies!) and I love the contrast of the pearl and the dynamic design of the sunburst.

I also choose the key because I have had this weird obsession with old antique looking keys for years now. And not just any old house key it had to have this certain look to it similar to the charms. Anytime I saw necklaces that had this type of key on it I would always try and buy it. So, of course, that was my second choice for a charm. The other detail I like is that this whole collection comes in four different colors. gold, vintage gold, vintage silver, and rose gold. I chose the vintage gold because it compliments so many of my other pieces.
