Interview Questions
1. Could you start by sharing a bit about yourself?
My Name is Jonathan, Jon for short.. I’m 25, I love to travel and laugh.. I LIVE for Music and Spending time with Great Friends.
2. Could you tell us about your blog and what inspired you to start one?
My blog is heavily focused on Beauty and Skincare right now, but I have a obsession with Fashion.. My family never worked in the industry but was highly involved and by involved I meant they were always buying high end and keep up with the latest trends.. I was inspired by a good friend of mine (Chelsey of VF) to start.. Living in TX, the Fashion Industry really isn’t present. Little bit in a few cities but nothing of high interest. I needed an outlet and my friend opened up the door to how I can achieve one.
3. Who is your fashion inspiration?
Hmmm… My top 5 who I look for inspiration, in this specific order, is Khloe Kardashian, Desi Perkins, Katy (Lustrelux), Kourtney Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner. If all else fails Pinterest, also The Visual Aspect (DeAnna) & VentiFashion (Chelsey)
Beauty, I def go to Kylie, a lot, Hrush as well, who is ONE of Kylie’s Makeup Artist. Kendall for more natural looks.. Nicole Gurriero for dewy looks.
4. How would you describe your style?
Casual, Comfortable, Chic. I believe if you are comfortable in what you wear, you are automatically confident, but don’t let that hold you back. I feel like going outside your comfort zone can really be rewarding and you may surprise yourself.
2017!! Step out of your comfort zone.
5. What are your favorite stores to shop at, and why?
Nordstrom! LOVE LOVE LOVE Nordstrom! I can literally find everything there; On trend items, as well as staples. I do Online shop however.. ASOS is another place I turn to and more recently River Island.
6. What is an item you splurge on?
Designer Shoes and Handbags… Only thing I really Splurge on, besides food.. I’m a big foodie.
7. What is your next fashion must have?
I really want a Gucci, I’m so obsessed with the direction the brand is going in! They definitely made a turn for the best.
8. How do you handle fashion trends? (Do you like to keep up with them or not pay attention to them at all…)
I definitely keep an eye on them, I don’t wrap myself up in them… Unless I completely fall for one. But I keep an eye open to them, but I must admit, I do fall into what I know and stick with that kind of attitude.
9. Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
I don’t really have any rules.. Well I don’t like wearing the same thing to events or out.. But I tend to, again, stick to what I know and thats it. But I have been trying to step up my dressing game and put effort into my outfits, especially since I’m trying to re-introduce fashion into my blog.
10. For my readers that are looking to freshen up their wardrobe, what is a great fashion tip you can share with them?
I guess the only thing I can come up with right now is, Step outside your comfort zone. It will really open your eyes to fashion and widen your fashion taste and wardrobe. who knows you may discover some new staples.
