Today we’re going to talk about cute summer workout clothes under $40. I along with everyone else has been spending a lot of time indoors. Despite gyms still being open in Texas, I haven’t been super comfortable going into the gyms right now so I’m back to my at-home workouts! One thing that has really kept me motivated during my at-home workouts have been cute workout clothes of course!

I am the first person to not want to spend a lot of money on workout clothes and wear them until they are so faded and falling apart. So, when I wanted to get a few new pieces of workout clothes I wanted some cute summer workout clothes that were also budget friendly. Previously I have shopped at Forever21, Fabletics, Target, and Nordstrom Rack. However, I want to take a moment to talk about the glow up that is Target’s workout wear. Like a COMPLETE glow up!!
What’s new when it comes to cute workout clothes
At the beginning of 2020 Target launched its All in Motion line which is an athletic wear line that is amazing quality at an affordable price point. I have purchased several pieces from All in Motion line and they have been sooo good! The high waisted shorts will hold you in during your workout and the workout tops are so soft. I will be adding pieces from the All in Motion line from Target into my round-up.
Another spot that I have loved for cute workout clothes is Forever 21. I have had their sports bras and leggings for years now and they have held up. I am trying to get away from fast fashion and buying clothing that just falls apart months later. But there are some brands that create some quality pieces and are at that low price point. I mainly get sports bras at Forever 21 because you can find some for $10 and they have support. I think it was a couple of years ago that F21 launched their athletic wear and they have some cute sets too! So, I will also be showing some of my favorite picks below.
Cute summer workout clothes that are tried and true
Fabletics is another of my top favorite athletic wear brands that some really cute summer workout wear. I have ordered from Fabletics for years now and those pieces have held up for years now haha Do you see the trend here? Although Fabletics falls more into the midrange you can find some great pieces around the $40 price point. I am signed up as a VIP member but at the same time, I skip a lot of months. I don’t need an overabundance of athletic wear and when I do want to buy from them you can get special discounting being a VIP member. For example, earlier this year I stopped instore to get some new leggings, and they were also having an amazing sale on their sports bras, tank tops, and a few other things. But you can only get that special pricing if you’re VIP. So, it is worth it to sign up for the VIP Fabletics subscription. Also set an alarm to go off so that you can make sure to skip your month if you’re not looking to buy at that time.
