Hello and welcome back! It has been a busy and long week for me, and I don’t know about you, but my allergies came out of nowhere and hit me. However I am back and feeling so much better:) Due to recent events, I am excited to write this fun post on casual date night outfits. Here in Austin, there are a variety of places that you can go for a fun date. For me, I love discovering new restaurants and trying new cuisine. So I will be the first to suggest food as a date. Anyway, I loved this outfit that came together so I wanted to showcase that. Then I pulled together a couple of inspiration outfits below as well.
I think the biggest piece of advice I could give someone when going on a date is to wear something that you are comfortable in. That is one less thing that you will have to worry about while you are out and about. It also boosts your confidence when you are wearing those jeans that make your butt look so good or your boobs look amazing. Sometimes you don’t feel like a ten…and I have those days too. What I do is look in the mirror and say three positive things about myself. I don’t just think them, I say them out loud! Try it, because believe me it helps.
I like to wear heels any chance I can take, but I know not everyone will. So these outfits can easily be paired with flats, loafers, or sandals. Again, it is whatever you are comfortable with. These are also more for the summer time and transitioning into fall and these outfits can be easily paired with other options. For example OTK boots, a chunky cardigan, a tailored blazer for when the weather is cooler. I want to see what your outfit picks are for date night comment below or tag me in your IG story!
As promised, here are my top 5 picks of where I love to go eat on a date here in Austin. Enjoy!
