Hello and welcome back to The Visual Aspect on this fine Thursday. As you have probably heard a ba-jillion times by now, but fall is right around the corner! I have already started to shop for a few pieces in my wardrobe that I am looking to add. I don’t know about you, but I have been wearing the same pieces of clothing on rotation throughout the entire summer. Honestly, I am bored with it, I can’t wait to start layering pieces, and changing up my style.
Today I am sharing three key pieces needed to transition your wardrobe to fall. This will be my take on it and what I will be adding to my wardrobe. I know everyone is a little different when it comes to their style. However, many of these pieces are pretty much basics so you can easily incorporate each piece into your wardrobe. These will be some solid pieces that are also on-trend right now and I found them at a great price point as well. Take a look below!
Bodysuits
I feel like I talk about bodysuits a lot but let’s get a refresher! Like I was saying earlier I had been bored with my current wardrobe, so I did a little shopping a few weeks ago. I really like bodysuits and my favorite now are the ones from Forever 21 in the lingerie section. They are super soft and hold up when you wash them. I’ve had one for over a year now and it’s not falling to shreds so I wanted to get another one. After trying on a couple of styles I settled for this rust-colored one with the high neck. It’s super cute and soft! It’s featured in my previous blog post and on IG if you want to look 🙂
So, I recommend trying there first and they’re about $14 or so. Another spot that has great bodysuits is Lulus. I have had my eye on a few and I’m about to pull the trigger and get one. I’ll just start with one because I am not sure how they fit. Once I get my order I will report back and give a review on their clothing.
Midi Skirt
Midi skirts are my latest obsession right now. I love the A-line styles like the one I am wearing in these pictures. They are so flattering! They come close to the body and then flare out right at the knees. It just gives a fun dynamic to the look and shape of the skirt. I will be pairing this with everything! But for a few examples, graphic T’s, Bodysuit with a blazer, and sweaters both chunky and lightweight.
Straight leg & The mom jeans
Last but not least is jeans! My collection of jeans is becoming very diverse which is nice. I have been wearing these light wash jeans from Zara and I love the slouchy fit. I know I am going to be bringing this style along into Fall. Another style I want to revamp is mom jeans:) I know this style isn’t for everyone but the Mom Jeans at Pacsun fit so well. The current ones I own are so worn out, so I will be getting a new pair soon! I am loving the look of the straight leg denim paired with the checked blazer (or just any blazer). That will be my uniform for fall, just watch haha
I hope you enjoyed this post and received some inspiration to transition your wardrobe to Fall. Also, if you haven’t caught up on my other blog post, click Here to read more!
