I feel like Easter is national wear a maxi dress day, and that is exactly what I was about to do! However I just recently was shopping at Express a few weeks ago (they are having some great sales btw) and got this silk blouse and another bralette, because they are super comfy. So all I brought to wear with that was jeans, so switched it up last minute! I always bring an extra pair of heels “just in case” I change my outfits and need another option….so over packing for an overnight trip worked in my favor this time haha
There are two things I like about this combination and the first is the comfort. It’s going to get a whole lot warmer here in Tejas so this material is perfect for those of us who sweat so easily in the heat…myself included lol The silk material is very lightweight but isn’t super thin where you can feel the wind blowing through you. I am pretty excited for spring, so I went bold with the floral pattern. I just needed a good jump start into spring ya know?! But Express does carry other patterns in the silk material for those of you who think the floral is overkill.
Second is VERSATILITY. You could wear this with so many different combinations and for various events. For example, work, church, Easter egg hunts, and going out with your friends. I wouldn’t tell you to “go add this to your closet!” if you couldn’t wear it a million different ways…and believe me, there will probably be another post showing featuring this blouse.
