I want the Dresses!
Summer is here and one of my favorite items of clothing to wear is summer dresses! I live in Texas and it gets hot down here. So that makes me shop for flowy tops and dresses, and basically any item of clothing that does not stick to my body. I feel like every time a new season rolls around I look at my closet with a major side-eye. One, I get bored sometimes with my clothes, and two, I want a few new pieces to make me excited for the new season.
If you are in the same boat or the dresses category of your wardrobe needs a facelift, this blog post is for you. I rounded up a lot of staple dresses that are extremely versatile! A few things to keep in mind while you shop. The first is, can I also wear this to work? Some dresses I find are a little too short or have a deep of a neckline, which is totally fine. I like to buy clothes that I could wear in different settings. Just aim to have 1 to 2 dresses in your closet that are versatile. Once you have those pieces, go grab that cute little mini dress! 🙂

Secondly is quality. At this stage in my budget, I am not always in the “investing” stage when it comes to shopping. Meaning, oh I can spend $400 dollars on this dress because it’s an investment piece. I try to find the best quality piece at an affordable price point. It’s all about elevating your style and wardrobe on a budget.
